My game has a global map, there are main story missions and side quests, you can complete story missions without any problems and unlock new secret events.
so literally not a sandbox but an RPG where you have a set path. a sandbox is where the player has full control on what happens and what they do at all times this isn't that.
What you describe is one version of sandbox. For any sandbox it is enough to have a global map and different events. And then it is up to the author to decide how much freedom to give to the players.
that just an RPG heck look at elden ring that is what you described and it's not described as a sandbox. and I'm pretty sure people who create games like that know better.

I'm actually quite impressed with this, despite English phrasing being sometimes weird it is still easily understandable and it isn't that much annoying. The animations quality are great and the story is trully intresting so far. Kinda sad about the android since we got to name her I was thinking it would be a recurrent character. Hope we'll see her again later on.

Normally, Itch games for Mac initially bring up the "'[Game]' cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified." alert, which requires going into System Preferences and simply allowing the app via the Security pane.
DOGMA, however, says
"You do not have permission to open the application 'DOGMA MacOS'."
And there's no simple fix. So please fix that. Meanwhile -- anyone got any work arounds or is this yet to be successfully played on any Mac?
Pro mid-2015. Bought it pre-owned and the guy installed some brand of SSD that isn’t capable of updating past Big Sur (11.6), but usually get a more specified error and a “nope” signal over the app if that were the problem.
After a title screen splash just a gray screen, "Dogma" at left top corner, "DiaLive(Dogma v.0.1) at right bottom. Space - remove this worlds, BackSpace - config. L for empty log. Is working. Other keys don't show any visible effects. Mouse clicks is useless at any area of screen.

Nope. It's bags in Unity or your code :/ Win version (under WINE) showing same things. BTW, after playing a bit game showing empty grey screen again.
